WHAT IS A LIFE COACH?

Just like athletes have coaches or musicians have directors, a life coach is someone who gets you from here to there. A life coach helps you see your life from a different perspective. They help you explore what success looks like for your life, then help you craft a strategic plan to begin to work toward those goals. Along the way, the life coach provides encouragement and accountability, while helping you course-correct as you begin to craft your future.

Life coaching is short-term. Once we define the areas that you want to work on, we'll craft a plan to focus on the things we have identified and a timeline in which to accomplish that work. However, the work we are doing does require time. For that reason, I recommend you commit to a minimum of 3 months or at least 12 sessions to complete our work. Of course, you can leave at any time if you feel you are not getting of value out of every single session.

Life coaching is not therapy. Although life coaching and therapy can complement each other, they are not the same. Through coaching, you develop strategic actions to help you move forward. Coaching does not attempt to explain behaviors, delve into your past, or identify pathology. Everything we talk about is 100% confidential and unless you tell someone that we are working together (or give me your express permission to do so) our coach/client relationship will be private.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Before you can go anywhere, you have to know where you are starting. You'll start by getting in contact with me be filling out the form below or sending me an email at pmpropst@pachlain.com.

Following this, we will set-up an initial meeting to introduce ourselves but also lay-out the process and see if we are a good fit to move forward. If so, we'll start our regular sessions (one to four sessions/month for 60 minutes) where I will ask you questions and lead you through exercises related to your goals. At the end of each session, we evaluate what was of value during our session and develop self-work for you to work on between our sessions to help you discover clarity and vision for your success. I will also be available for email and text check-ins in between sessions.

As a result of coaching, you will be equipped to grow in awareness and ability to accomplish goals. In addition, you will enjoy increased self-esteem, improved communication skills, enhanced relationships, better work/life balance and less stress. You will improve your skills and ability in decision making and navigate the daily demands of work and home life. You will gain a clearer sense of your priorities and how to live your life with those in focus. You will feel better physically, more connected spiritually, and have the assurance that you are finally moving forward towards definitive goals.

Sessions are $60 for each 60 minute session.

A 10% discount is applied for each additional session scheduled within one calendar month. For example:

  • First meeting in a calendar month = $60
  • Second meeting in a calendar month = $54
  • Third meeting = $48
  • Fourth meeting = $42
